The service and sales department have a scam going on and it goes something like this.. When you buy a used or new car from any of the rohrman stores you will be offered a extended warrant called ccc (certifiedcarcare). this is suppose to be a extendid warranty like western deversified or api but its nothing like it. those two warrany companies are in the buissines of keeping customers happy, not ccc, that company if you do your research is located in the same town as the rohrman home base in indiana (ironic?) well this warant is actualy owned by the same owner as the dealerships.

If you know how the warranty process works you will understand it better.

The car is first brought into service where the service manager (mark s.) inspects the car. The major problems are then addresed and repaired is sales pays for it. a repair order is generated and is on file with service in their adp system which is avalible for all to see. and these things dont get lost in the system, dont belive that cus i am very familiar with the abp system and it is very good at storing information. this is where the inspection for the car will be on record. once everything is repaired the car may be certified for a extended warranty.

But the rohrman dealerships will not allow you to buy anything but their own. CCC. The problem with that is that when you purchase the warranty you put money into bobs pocket. the money goes in a pool and should then be used to repair your car when it brakes, but if the same person is colecting and having to pay out than it is not in their best intrest since the money is coming out of the same pocket. Ask mark s. about this. he may get a bit uptight when he hears that you know this but thats just him. And do yourself a favor, dont ever deal with him on monday or in the mornings, he will be in a very bad mood with a bad headache usualy from the night before. This whole warrant is a rip off. they will make every excuse not to fix your car and blame you for not performing maintenance or something like this to get away from having to pay for fixin g it.

Stay away from the rohrman stores, their ccc warranty and the service department of the gurnee store, the manager is a very unresonable person to deal with as i have experienced in the first place. i have found all of this out from a former emploee of the auto group who was very reluctant to say this. But he mentioned all the kickbacks that john h. gets, and his drunken managers are bad news. Take your car to different dealers if you have this warranty, they will fix it right, since there is no conflict of intrest there. dont deal with these scam artists, they dont car about you, just their numbers at the end of the month when they sit down, and fixing your car under this warranty brings these #'s down.
