Everyone has a shitty story. Why do people complain so much? You bought a used car. You have no idea what that car went through before you got your hands on it. Shit happens to you and you want to warn people? Do you have another website about divorce or bad service in a restaurant you once visited?

Your story has  2 main complaints: 1. False advertisement of certified vehicle. 2. Aftermarket piece of shit auto start that was deemed a fire hazard.

I agree with you on the window tag. I work at a Honda dealership, only the certified cars get tagged "certified". Why don't you send someone back to the same dealer and have them see if every used car has a certified tag in it? I'm sure it was just some dumb lot porter that put that in the car. When you were buying the car and you were told twice that it was certified, did you ask for or check the paper work??

Who cares about the certification anyways? Shouldn't a 1 or 2 year old car still be under factory warranty? Wait! Aftermarket alarms/auto start (aftermarket shit in general) are not covererd by the Manufacturer.. nor should it be. You didn't know it had an aftermarket auto start! Guess what?! I bet the dealer didn't either. But you bought a used car... shit I've seen people buy new cars that have aftermarket shit on it < dealers fault.

Do you know what standards there are for "certification"? If I was a technician checking over your car  for a certification (unless it was causing a problem) I would never notice an auto start burried under the dash. And theres nothing in a certification that says it "can't" have aftermarket items on it.

So was the check eng light and driveability problem caused by the aftermarket alarm/auto start??? If so, it's  not the manufactures problem. The dealer doesn't guarantee anything. But should the dealership be held responsible for selling you the car with that auto start on it? It would be great if they could be held liable. But they can't. Just like if I had a car, I got into an accident with no insurance, I fixed it out of pocket. Then traded the car in later to a dealership. Theres no records or paper trail.. carfax wouldn't beable totell with no police report or insurance report. So guess what??? The dealership doesn't know either. The dealership turns around and sells the car the next day. The person who bought the car has it for more than a year and it developes a loud knocking noise. He/she gets it checked out at the same dealership he  bought it from. They find shoddy body work to the chassis  where the suspension mounts to and deemed dangerous to drive. Should the dealership be responsible for fixing or replacing the car?

What if you switched the dealership for your self. You bought the car, then maybe a month later a brand new car comes out and you love it and just have to have it.. so you sell the car you just bought to some  other shmo. Should you be responsible for replacing or fixing schmo's  car when he  finds out? No, you didn't know either. Would you like to have a lawsuit on your has because of something you didn't know about?

You'v started and maintained a bashing site for people that want to complain about VW and Bob Rohrman dealers. Are your Hitler? Are you generalizing all the people at all the Bob Rohrman Dealers? Are you a hate monger?

I don't know Bob Rohrman, or any of its dealers. I've never even been to Indiana. I'm not sticking up for anyone. I'm just trying to help you make sense and peace with what has happend. It sucks. Shit happens to everyone. I hope you got rid of that car (the next person who gets it will get screwed because you didn't fix it btw).

You should take this crybaby website down, start a real website that might help someone instead of giving people a place to complain. I could help you.
